By submitting an application to the GIAS IJMB programme, you agree to the following terms.
The GIAS IJMB programme is intended for students who have completed senior secondary school (SS3) and intend to pursue Direct Entry into the second year of a Nigerian university through the IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) examination.
The application process is described on our admissions page and proceeds through these stages: form submission, an admissions call from our team, document submission, an offer of admission, application fee payment, offer acceptance, and tuition payment in two installments before enrollment.
A non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 is payable from the applicant portal once an offer has been issued. The full amount is credited toward your first tuition installment when the offer is accepted. The application fee is not refundable if you withdraw your application after payment.
Tuition for the 2027/2028 session ranges from ₦370,000 (Management / Social Sciences, day) to ₦580,000 (Sciences, boarding), all-inclusive of teaching, accommodation where applicable, and IJMB exam registration. Tuition is paid in two installments: 70% on or before resumption, and the remaining 30% before First Semester examinations.
By submitting an application, the applicant or guardian consents to be contacted by GIAS about the application by call, WhatsApp, SMS, and email at the contact details provided. You may withdraw this consent for promotional communications at any time by replying STOP or emailing info@gemstoneijmb.com; we will continue to use your contact details for transactional communications about your application until it is closed.
You warrant that the information you provide on your application is true and accurate. Falsification of academic records or identity documents may void any offer issued and result in the cancellation of enrollment without refund.
GIAS reserves the right to update programme details, fees, accommodation availability, and academic dates with reasonable notice. Any change that materially affects students who have already accepted an offer will be communicated in writing.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising under these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
We may update these terms from time to time. Substantial changes will be communicated to active applicants and students by email.
